Antique Armchair Restoration

These antique armchairs were brought to us in need of a complete restoration. The original upholstery had deteriorated significantly, and the chairs frames were damaged and unstable.
Our team replaced the webbing and support materials, repaired and strengthened the frame where required, and carefully prepared the chair for reupholstery. The timber was sanded and stripped, cleaned and refinished to enhance the natural beauty of the wood while preserving the character of the original piece.
The chair was then upholstered in a textured olive-green fabric selected to complement the warm timber tones and classic silhouette of the armchair. Decorative studs were added to provide a refined finishing touch while remaining sympathetic to the chair's traditional design.
The results are beautifully restored antique armchairs that combine timeless craftsmanship with renewed comfort and durability, ready to be enjoyed for many years to come.
