This is our online store. Check back regularly - we try to load our new stock weekly!
See below for stock that's in the shop right now - you can buy it online or come in and see the items you're interested in. Remember that second hand items are sold as is. While we offer repair and refurbishment of furniture this is not included in any of the prices below. Just let us know if you see something and want a quote on making it your own! Some of these items have really great potential so chat to us if you want to know more about our restoration services. Also, if you see something you like and it's sold, ask us about manufacturing new furniture.

Terms and Conditions
Welcome to REDECORATE. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchase of second-hand furniture from our store, located in Johannesburg, South Africa.
By using our website and purchasing our products, you agree to the following:
1. Product Condition and Sales

All items are sold “as is”. These are second-hand pieces and may show signs of previous use, wear, or minor defects.

Customers are encouraged to inspect items in person at our store before purchasing.

We offer optional restoration services at an additional cost. Restoration must be arranged prior to delivery or collection.
2. Viewing and Inspection

Customers may visit our physical location to view any item prior to purchase. This helps ensure you are satisfied with the condition and quality of the item.

Once an item is purchased and collected or delivered, it is considered accepted in its current state unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Deliveries

Deliveries are arranged upon request and subject to availability.

The condition of each item will be documented before leaving our store.

Once an item is delivered, customers must inspect the item immediately. Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
4. Refunds and Returns Policy

Refunds will only be considered under the following conditions:

The customer notifies us within 24 hours of delivery or collection.

The item has not been altered, used, or damaged since delivery/collection.

The refund is requested due to a material misrepresentation of the item (e.g., undisclosed major damage).

Refunds will only be processed once the original payment has cleared in our account and the item is returned in its original state.

No refunds or returns will be accepted after 48 hours of delivery/collection, in line with our policy of reasonable inspection time.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind or if a customer keeps the item for more than 2 days post-delivery without raising an issue.
5. Compliance with South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA)

We comply with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, which allows for fair return policies in cases of defective goods or misrepresentation.

Due to the nature of second-hand goods, the CPA allows sellers to limit returns, provided the goods are sold as described and any known defects are disclosed.
6. Payments

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).

Payments must be made via accepted online or in-store payment methods.

Orders will only be confirmed once full payment has been received and cleared in our account.
7. Restoration Services

Restoration is available at an additional fee and must be arranged prior to delivery or collection.

Turnaround times and costs for restoration will be communicated and agreed upon in writing.
8. Disclaimer

While we take care to represent items as accurately as possible in photos and descriptions, colors, textures, and dimensions may vary slightly.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund or return where goods were sold as described and inspected by the customer.
